Steel grating is manufactured using an electro-forgewelding process that applies pressure and heat to fuse square, twisted cross bars into load-bearing bars of various thicknesses and depths.
The result is a product of one-piece construction that complies with AS1657-2013.
The press welded galvanized steel grating/grille/grate is made of load flat steel bar and cross bar, placed horizontally and vertically, and at an equal pitch apart, by welding with 200-ton hydraulic resistance automatic welding equipment, then cutting, punching and banding ends.
